Useful Links

Here are some of the sites we’ve found useful so far. These will be updated as we find new sources of advice, support and information along the way:

https://www.newfamilysocial.org.uk/ – A website dedicated to same gender & transgender individuals and couples on the adoption journey. Run by and for adopters, the site aims to give LGBT adopters and prospective adopters confidence through a network of similar individuals, couples and families

http://www.adoptionuk.org/ – Adoption UK’s website aims to support adoptive parents through the process of adoption through it’s blogs, training and bountiful resources.

http://www.baaf.org.uk/ – The British Association for Adoption & Fostering is the best website to use to find Local Authority and Voluntary Adoption agencies. It’s what we used to find our Voluntary Adoption agency.

https://www.actionforchildren.org.uk/what-we-do/adoption/mosaic-adoption-service/ – Mosaic is a Voluntary Adoption Agency specifically targeted at black, minority ethnic or mixed parentage children.
